Subject: Encoder Index Connection
Hi Tom,

I'm trying out some new Hudson servos from Teknic and have a question regarding the encoder index connection. The A and B channels have a +/- wire but the index has only a single wire. This is being connected to run with a SnapAmp / KFlop combo. Where is the best pin to connect the index?

Thanks in advance,
David.

Hi David,

Assuming it is a 5V TTL signal you could connect it to a GPIO input on SnapAmp.  They are +5V Tolerant.
